Reu now has three monkeys. He had one that he got from the Detlefsens during his first hospitalization at Gillette back in 2010. He lost it. (We lost it? It was gone...) It's the one toy he's latched on to, so we ordered another after a week. The Detlefsens hear its gone, and Jamie is very concerned, and wants to give Reuben his own monkey who he knows would matter more to Reu than it does to him. The monkey we ordered arrives. The next week we find monkey #1 under Reuben's mattress-on-the-floor. And a little after that, monkey #3 arrives from Jamie, who knows about monkeys #1 and #2, but still thinks Reu should have #3. So he does. And he likes it. ;)
