Thanksgiving evening we took some time out. The nurses took pity on this poor man who'd had his 24 hour EEG stuff hooked up for over 48 hours by this point, and gave us a little more than an hour to be out and about. You'll notice here, too, that the IV which they kept in him to be ready to put him out for his MRI Friday morning had to be taken out because it wasn't working properly anymore. Nice to have a little more freedom, but bummer to lose that IV -- we worked H-A-R-D to get that thing in!!! (For those of you who followed the story via random emails, at this point we now had a dead cat, Foo, freezing nicely in a box in the back of the van. What a week!)
